LIFE SIZE FACEHUGGER STASIS CHAMBER

These chambers are 100% made from scratch.  Individually handmade capturing the smallest of details in hopes of being the most movie accurate and functional stasis chambers built to date.  Crafted from a mix of resin, acrylic, steel, aluminum and various other working parts.

​

The Facehugger is a parasitoid; its only purpose being to make contact with the host's mouth for the implantation process. The Facehugger secures its eight finger-like appendages tightly around the head of its victim and wraps its tail tightly around the host's neck, eliciting a gasping response and allowing the insertion of an ovipositor into the host's esophagus.

IMPORTANT NOTES:  When painting and sealing the Facehuggers, water resistant primers, paints, and clear coats are used.  But NOTHING is 100% waterproof.  Over a long period of time if left in water protective layers may deteriorate causing damage to the paint.
